Self-reflection
Imposter syndrome self-check
Ten statements about how you see your own achievements. It takes about two minutes.
This short questionnaire helps you notice how often you experience what is called imposter syndrome: the sense that you have not earned your success, that you will be found out, and that praise belongs to luck. It is for orientation only. It is not a standardised psychological test or a diagnosis, just a prompt for reflection.
Answer according to how things have been over the past month, not how you would like them to be.
For each statement, choose how often it has been true for you over the past month. There are no right answers. Your result is calculated only in your browser.
Your answers are scored only in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.
Your result
Your score is a rough orientation, not a diagnosis. Your answers stay in your browser.
This questionnaire is for orientation only. It is not a standardised psychological test and does not replace a conversation with a professional.
Would you like to talk about it? Write to me and we can arrange a first session, in Prague 1 or online.
What your result means, and what it does not
Your result shows how often you notice thoughts typical of so-called imposter syndrome. It says nothing about how capable you actually are. Self-doubt can persist even when things are going well.
This questionnaire is a prompt for reflection. It is not a standardised test and does not diagnose anything. To read more about how imposter feelings show up and how I work with them, see Imposter syndrome.
If, alongside the doubts, you have been dealing with lasting low mood, exhaustion or poor sleep, see When to seek help.

Questions and answers
Is this a diagnosis?
No. Imposter syndrome is not a diagnosis, and this questionnaire is not a standardised psychological test. It simply helps you notice how often certain thoughts come back.
Do you store my answers?
No. The result is calculated in your browser. Your answers are never sent anywhere and disappear when you close the page.
What should I do with my result?
Treat it as something to reflect on. If self-doubt has been wearing you down for a long time, talking to a professional can help.
