AI guide

Questions before you get in touch

Before writing to me, you may have a few practical questions. This AI guide can help with those. Anything personal is better written to me directly.

The guide is an AI system that answers practical questions about my practice: whether individual therapy with me could fit what you are dealing with, how sessions work, what they cost and how to arrange a first session. It is not me, and it is not therapy. It does not diagnose, does not advise on treatment or medication, and cannot help in a crisis.

If you would like to check a few things before you write to me, you can ask the guide below.

Orientation guide AI

You are talking to an AI system, not to Roman. It only helps you get oriented: whether therapy with Roman could suit you, how sessions work, what they cost and how to arrange a first session. It is not therapy. It does not diagnose and does not advise on treatment or medication. If you are in crisis, call 116 123, or 112 if a life is in danger.

Before you start

  • The replies come from an AI system, not from Roman. It does not provide therapy, make diagnoses or advise on treatment or medication.
  • The text of your messages is sent to Anthropic (USA) only so that a reply can be generated. Anthropic usually keeps it for up to 30 days under its terms and then deletes it. This website stores nothing unless you tick the save box below.
  • Please do not include names or other details that could identify you. The guide does not need health details.
  • In an acute crisis call 116 123, or 112 if a life is in danger.

By clicking you consent to this processing, including any health information you choose to write (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR). Details in the privacy notice.

What the guide can help with

  • whether individual therapy with me could suit what you are dealing with
  • how sessions run: their length, in person in Prague 1 or online, in English, Czech or Slovak
  • what sessions cost and how cancellation works
  • how to arrange a first session, since I do not use an online booking calendar
  • when a doctor or another kind of help might be a better first step

The guide can make mistakes. If an answer matters to you, check it on the relevant page of this website or ask me.

What it will not do

The guide is not therapy and it does not replace a conversation with me. It does not diagnose, it does not advise on treatment, and it does not answer questions about starting, changing or stopping medication; those belong with your doctor or a psychiatrist.

It is also not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please do not write to the guide. Use the crisis lines on this page.

How your data is handled

Unless you tick the box to save the conversation, nothing from it is stored on this website. To generate the answers, the text you type is processed by the AI provider Anthropic in the USA, which usually keeps it for up to 30 days under its terms and then deletes it. The website keeps only anonymous daily counts of how much the guide is used.

If you tick the box, the conversation is stored by Cloudflare in the EU for a maximum of 90 days and then deleted automatically. I read it through protected access before a first consultation. The website's technical administrator, who runs the Cloudflare and Anthropic accounts for me, has technical access to saved conversations only as far as running the website requires. After saving you will see a link that lets you delete the conversation at any time.

The guide does not need details about your health to help you get oriented, so please leave them out. The privacy notice describes all of this in full.

Writing to me directly

For anything specific to your situation, write to me or call. I read and answer messages myself.

Questions and answers

Am I talking to Roman?

No. The guide is an AI system that answers practical questions about my practice. I do not see your conversation unless you tick the box to save it.

Can the guide tell me what is wrong with me?

No. It does not diagnose and it cannot assess your situation. If you are unsure what kind of help you need, the page on when to seek help goes through the options, and you can also write to me.

Is my conversation saved?

Only if you tick the box under the chat. A saved conversation is stored in the EU for up to 90 days, and I read it through protected access before a first consultation. You can delete it at any time with the link shown after saving.

Do I have to use the guide before contacting you?

No, it is entirely optional. You can write to me or call me directly instead.
